Create Entries

Start a new entry, write the thought, and save it. Keep entries short when capturing quickly; add detail later when reviewing.

Use Tags and Mentions

Add #tags for topics and @mentions for people, places, clients, or contexts. These lightweight markers help organize notes without a folder setup step.

Search Modes

Use exact search when you remember the word or phrase. Use best match when you remember the idea but not the exact wording. Smart Folders can preserve recurring searches and views.

iCloud Sync and Export

iCloud sync keeps notes available across devices signed in with the same Apple ID. Export tools help keep your notes portable and under your control.

Troubleshooting

• If entries are not syncing, confirm iCloud is enabled for the app and device.
• If a note is hard to find, try exact search, related tags, and date-based browsing.
• If widgets do not update, restart the device and confirm widget permissions.
