Troubleshoot iCloud sync.
PencilTime sync depends on iCloud, device settings, network availability, and the same Apple ID across devices.
Checklist
- Confirm each device is signed in to the same Apple ID.
- Confirm iCloud Drive is enabled in iOS Settings.
- Confirm PencilTime is allowed to use iCloud.
- Open PencilTime on Wi-Fi and leave it open briefly so sync can complete.
- Check available iCloud storage if sync appears stalled.
If Content Looks Missing
Do not delete the app immediately. First check iCloud status, device storage, and whether the expected Apple ID is active. If you contact support, include device models, iOS versions, and when the content last appeared.
