TV Presets User Guide

Connect to your Samsung TV and switch channels quickly.

Use this guide to connect TV Presets, create channel buttons, and troubleshoot local network issues.

Connect to a Samsung TV

1. Make sure the iPhone or iPad and Samsung TV are on the same Wi-Fi network.
2. Open the connection screen in TV Presets.
3. Select a discovered TV or enter the TV IP address manually.
4. Accept the connection request shown on the TV.

Create Channel Presets

Double-tap a preset button to configure it. Enter the channel number or label, choose a color, and save it. Tap the preset once to switch quickly.

Save, Load, and Share Presets

Preset files make it easier to reuse channel collections across rooms, devices, or family members. Save a preset collection before making large changes so you can return to it later.

Troubleshooting Discovery

• Confirm both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network.
• Disable guest network isolation or AP isolation if your router uses it.
• Try a manual IP connection if automatic discovery does not find the TV.
• Reserve a static IP address for the TV if the app often loses connection.

Debug Logs

If support asks for logs, include the TV model, iOS version, connection method, and what happened immediately before the failure.
